I am pleased to announce that I am continuing my twenty-plus year career as a residential home inspector (Florida license HI2) and mold assessor (Florida license MRSA 1148) as The Salty Inspector, serving Florida’s Forgotten Coast from St George Island.
My new limited inspection offering will provide a local source for wind mitigation and four point inspections, as well as licensed mold assessment and along Florida’s Forgotten Coast.

My new venture - The Salty Inspector, will provide the only licensed mold assessment in Franklin, Gulf and Wakulla counties. As license number MRSA 1148, I bring my career experience of thousands of assessment and testing inspections to this service area. As a licensed mold assessor, I can test for the presence of fungal spores, and based upon the laboratory results, prescribe a remediation protocol and perform post remediation clearance testing.
In addition to mold assessment, I am available for Wind Mitigation and Four Point Evaluations, which are vital for home insurance. I’ve been performing wind mitigation evaluations since these inspections were introduced under the My Safe Florida Home program over 15 years ago.
